La piel es el órgano más grande del cuerpo, por lo que tiene sentido que desee preservar su salud y protegerla del envejecimiento. En nuestra oficina, contamos con tratamientos de rejuvenecimiento de la piel que restauran una apariencia sana, juvenil y hacen retroceder el paso del tiempo sin necesidad de cirugía. Algunos de los tratamiento que ofrecemos son micro-agujas (micro-needling), tratamientos con ácidos orgánicos, dermo-abrasión, entre muchos otros.
Este proceso incluye tanto procedimientos sobre la piel, como el uso de suplementos nutritivos, ya que la piel es un reflejo de nuestra salud general.
Tanto los procedimientos, como las vitaminas son específicos para las necesidades de cada pacientes y el tratamiento se determina durante la consulta, aveces se requieren exámenes de sangre, reemplazo hormonal, etc.

Filler Treatment

With age or weight loss, we lose volume in some areas of the face. Fillers are injectable products that allow us to “Plump back up” without surgery. Fillers can also be used to soften wrinkles and, of course, to create bigger, fuller lips.

How does it work: Most fillers are gel type products that can stay in our bodies for long periods of time and eventually do get absorbed, but at a very slow rate. Until the fillers are fully absorbed, they will create volume and keep the shape of the treated area. Correct placement and good massage after injecting it will be key!

All fillers are not the same! At 100% Beauty by MD, we offer hyaluronic acid fillers because these products are the safest to use. Within this group of fillers, you have the Juvederm family of fillers and Restylane. These are two reliable brands that have been in the market “forever” and have proven their high-quality year after year. Each family has a filler that is more suitable for each part of your face, let your doctor guide you through the product selection for better results.

Hyaluronic acid is our first choice because it is an essential substance that NATURALLY exists in our body. It is one of the main components around our cells and it helps to keep them in place, like the scaffolding of a building.

Hyaluronic acid fillers are the ONLY ONEs that are 100% reversible, which means there is an antidote that we can inject in case of any problems or if you change your mind. This is a safety net that only these fillers can offer. Remember, safety first!

Perfect timing: Schedule the treatment after work or during a day that is not that busy. Results will be immediate and you can expect area swelling. You will need to ice the treated area several times that day. The day after your procedure there is a possibility of bruising, but at that time you will be able to use makeup.

Ideally, plan for your procedure 2 to 3 weeks prior to a special occasion, this will allow enough time for resolution of bruising and touch-ups if needed.

Momento perfecto: programe el tratamiento después del trabajo o durante un día que no esté tan ocupado. El segundo día lo moretones serán más marcados, pero ya podrá utilizar maquillaje.

Fortunately, there are acne treatments available to help people who struggle with acne – whether teenagers or adults.

TRATAMIENTO INTEGRAL DE ACNÉ

Todos queremos una piel sin imperfecciones, pero muchos batallamos para lograrlo. El acné suele hacer su primera aparición durante la pubertad, sin embargo puede presentarse en cualquier momento de la vida, así es, desde recién nacidos, hasta la vejez.
Es un problema que causa un gran impacto en la salud emocional, suele dejar manchas y/o cicatrices, puede ser doloroso e incluso causar mucha comezón. Afortunadamente existen tratamientos para el acné en todas sus etapas.
Todo tratamiento requiere un ojo experto que sepa identificar la causa, para así poder iniciar el medicamento más eficaz y adecuado para cada paciente; así mismo, requiere de disciplina y compromiso tanto del médico como de la persona tratándose. El tiempo mínimo de tratamiento es 6 meses, seguido de una fase de de mantenimiento prolongada.
Los resultados son excelentes!!!

Botox ® Treatment

The use of botulinum toxin is one of the most cost-effective and safe rejuvenation treatments available in the market currently. We usually refer to it as Botox for short, even though that is only one of the available brand names for this product. Other names include Xeomin and Dysport.

How does it work: Botox is injected into specific muscles to keep them relaxed. The muscles in charge of creating unwanted wrinkle patterns are targeted and those lines will fade or even go away. Everybody is different and every muscle is different, and because of that the dose required for each patient is different and the amount of botulinum toxin required is customized to each patient.

Results: You will be able to see results around 7 days after treatment. Unfortunately, the effects are not immediate but is worth the wait! We always start with a standard dose known to work for a specific area, 7 to 10 days later we meet again and we evaluate the results. If needed, we gradually inject more in order to achieve optimal wrinkle treatment without overdoing it.

The effects will last approximately 3 months.

Perfect timing: Schedule your treatment on a day without any important social or work events. We have patients that feel very comfortable going shopping or to a restaurant after receiving injections on the face, others prefer to stay home for the treatment and after it. Let us know what you prefer, home concierge visits are available!

If you are doing Botox for a special occasion, plan your treatment at least 3 weeks prior to your special day. This should allow us enough time for your initial treatment and tweaking. If there is any bruising, 3 weeks will allow enough time for it to resolve.

Safety: This procedure performed correctly has a low risk for complications and if any happen, most complications are temporary. This is one of our favorite treatments because of the results you can achieve and the high safety profile, especially if performed by a professional doctor such as Dr. De La Rosa.

El uso de la toxina botulínica es uno de los tratamientos que ofrecen más por su dinero, esto quiere decir que es uno de los tratamientos de rejuvenecimiento más efectivos y seguros disponibles en el mercado. Por lo general, nos referimos a éste como Botox para abreviar, aunque ésa es una de las marcas disponibles para este producto. Otras marcas incluyen Xeomin y Dysport.
Cómo funciona: el Botox se inyecta en músculos específicos para mantenerlos relajados. Los músculos a cargo de crear un grupo de arrugas son inyectados y así esas líneas no deseadas se desvanecen o incluso desaparecerán. Todos somos diferentes y cada músculo es diferente, por eso la dosis requerida para cada paciente es diferente y la cantidad de toxina botulínica requerida se personaliza para cada paciente.
Resultados: podrá ver los resultados alrededor de 7 días después del tratamiento. Desafortunadamente, los efectos no son inmediatos, ¡pero vale la pena la espera! Siempre comenzamos con una dosis estándar que sabemos que funciona para una zona específica, 10 a 14 días después nos volvemos a encontrar y evaluamos los resultados. Si es necesario, inyectamos más gradualmente para lograr un tratamiento óptimo de las arrugas, sin que la piel quede exageradamente estirada.
Los efectos durarán aproximadamente 3 meses.
Momento perfecto: programe su tratamiento para un día sin eventos sociales o de trabajo importantes. Tenemos pacientes que se sienten muy cómodos yendo de compras o a un restaurante después de recibir inyecciones en la cara, otros prefieren quedarse en casa después. Háganos saber lo que prefiere.
Si se está tratándose con Botox para una ocasión especial, planifique su tratamiento al menos 3 semanas antes de su día especial. Esto debería permitirnos suficiente tiempo para su tratamiento inicial y ajustes. Si hay algún moretón, 3 semanas darán suficiente tiempo para que se resuelva.
Riesgos: este procedimiento realizado correctamente tiene un bajo riesgo de complicaciones y, si ocurre alguna, la mayoría de las complicaciones son temporales.
